Cuttlebug spot challenge 10

I made this card for the cuttlebugspot challenge. It required you to have a 10 on the card.
Today is our grandaughter Robyn's 10th birthday. She lives in the Netherlands. This challenge came just a week too late, as she already has a card from us, but "what the heck" A 10th birthday is worth another card. So Robyn this one is for you as well.
I used a lavender CS and embossed the candles folder and numbers from the alphabet, also "happy b'day" all from cuttlebug folders.
DP paper is from my Funky hand CD and the charm was from a RAK.
I know she likes bling so, the candles have yellow glitter and the numbers and words, some stickles.
So watch the post for this one Robyn. Hope you had a wonderful day.

Annabelle's challenge

This is the card I made for the Annabelle Stamps challenge.
The image is one of the new Whiff of Joy stamps, coloured with water colour pencils.
A happy birthday button and a bling scroll complete the card.
The photo is not great, we have had 2 days of rain and dark clouds with no sunshine. Waited for the sun to peep through, but no luck, so this was the best I could do.
It is almost week-end, so enjoy it everyone.

My first award - Thank you

I feel truly honoured to have received this award from Sharon. Being so new to blogging, I have a lot to learn and a BIG thanks to Sharon for being my "helpline" I need to list 10 things that make me happy.

1. Being able to work full days alongside my husband.

Joshua

Towards the end of last year my grandson in Netherlands turned 8, He loves aeroplanes and plays soccer and guitar, so combining all his interests and using my new scor-pal this was the card I came up with. I thought it would be quite a challenge, but it came together very easily.
The papers were just bits and pieces and I downloaded the soccer paper.
Music notes and sentiment were local stamps.
"Joshua" was cut with my cuttlebug, and the images were sent to me from a friend in a RAK. I have used this trifold card often since and always is successful. Joshua liked his card very much.

60th Birthday

Had a request to make a 60th birthday card for a special lady, so this is what I came up with. I know she has a lovely garden with many hanging baskets of flowers, so thought this might be appropriate.

The stamp is from a local company Great Impressions, the numbers are peel-offs, (I need to invest in some numeral stamps) Used a corner punch, some embroidery and beads to finish off.

The birthday lady loved it.

We went to lunch yesterday to celebrate the retirement of 2 family members ( the couple retired together) This is the card I made for them. Now they don't look like this now, but they did say they plan a long retirement.
Have a great Monday everyone

Real fucshias

After the storms and rain of the previous 2 nights, had a quiet night last night and bright sunshine today. Had a look round the garden and saw some pretty dancing fucshias, that survived the lashings of rain and wind. The pear tree is also looking good. No damage there, apart from the birdies who are starting to have their share.

I love fucshias

I love fucshias and have about 10 different colours flowering in my garden at the moment. We had such a storm last night with wind and rain, it battered the poor things a bit. Just before Christmas, I had an opportunity to do a class making flowers from punch outs. I enjoyed it and made a card for a special friend's birthday. Of course it didn't fit into an envelope, so with my recently acquired scor-pal I made a box for it. My friend was over the moon with it.
